Scott Holbert
Lead Trumpet & Flugelhorn
Trumpet Player, Teacher, Performer, and Brass Mouthpiece Maker |
Philosophy of Trumpet Playing:
"As a student of Dr. Reinhardt's Pivot System, I've developed great range, endurance, and efficiency with the mechanics of embouchure in playing the trumpet. Having these elements has allowed me to develop the ability to perform at a professional level in all types of musical organizations, from lead trumpet or jazz solo player in a Big Band to principal player in an Orchestra or Concert Band. It is my belief as with Dr. Reinhardt that this system can be conveyed to and used by any brass player willing to apply it and develop new levels of accomplishment."
